Where Runes and Gear Come From in Summon Heroes
Your heroes are only half the job. Runes come out of the Nightmare Dungeons, and Gear is what you are chasing in the Endless Tower, so those two modes are the ones you keep going back to once the early story fights stop being a problem. The Nightmare Circus is another fight-for-rewards mode on top of that.
Outside of farming, there are 12 Story mode worlds to work through, over 60 heroes to summon, and PvP plus the Tournament if you would rather test a team against other players. Max level is 200. The game is still in BETA, so things can shift, though your data is not getting wiped.
Why are my Summon Heroes codes not working?

A spelling error is one common reason, so read back over what you entered or paste the code in rather than typing it. The other reason is that you may be on an outdated server.
